Item 12.1 is our Draft Economic Development Strategy 2026-2029. At a previous meeting, I put forward an amendment to ask the community about incorporating #CommunityWealthBuilding principles into this strategy.

Scotland became the first country in the world to pass national Community Wealth Building legislation. The bill passed unanimously on February 10, 2026, 103 votes for, zero against.
