Im Londoner Bezirk #Hackney versorgt ein Pilotprojekt #Sozialwohnungen über lokale #Mikrogrids mit #Solarstrom.

Nach regulatorischen Anpassungen können #Haushalte direkt beliefert werden und sparen laut Council rund 15 Prozent bei den #Energiekosten. Das Modell soll auf weitere Gebäude ausgeweitet werden. Auch landesweit wächst die Zahl von #CommunityEnergy-Initiativen.
