#CombustionEngines, #EVs, #hybrids.

Cars that do not fulfill these can either not be registered or have to buy carbon credits.

Q1: Is it true that next to no current US (incl Tesla), Japanese or European model fullfils these criteria?

Q2: How expensive are these carbon credits?

Q3: Is this limited to new cars?

The only exemptions they do - for #LeadAcid, #LithiumBatteries and even #CombustionEngines with #Fuel - are (motorized) #Wheelchairs, tho said users face a whole stack of even worse #discrimination, as I'm shure @RaulKrauthausen et. al. can tell from personal experience.
