@kerravonsen Wouldn’t go as far as “merciful.” Wouldn’t have wished it on an enemy, TBH. There are a lot of extra urns in the SF #Columbarium from 2020-2021. But this is a shitshow, and whoah did we learn a lot back then.

Some stuff I wish we’d used for permanent change in the #US health system, some stuff that got better behind the scenes, and of course now some stuff we have to break out when knuckleheads decide kicking the hornets’ nest makes them look attractive or whatever.

Planning for your #death is expensive . . .

8 yrs ago I paid $2.5k for a cremation plan w/the #NeptuneSociety & I'm finalizing a new #WillAndTrust for another $2.5k now.

Was just going to ask my survivors to sprinkle my remains over the graves of my parents at #WoodlawnCemetary in #Colma (instead of dumping them in the ocean) but I'm currently thinking about buying a niche at the #Columbarium in #SF (now owned & operated by the Neptune Society) which is a beautiful & historic site at which your remains can be interred.

I already picked out a niche that I like but the ask asking price of $47K for about 1 cubic feet of space is giving me pause.

I can afford it but do I really need to buy a permanent place to store my remains that costs nearly $50K? 🧐

I'm still thinking about it. 🤔
