We do have laws. And when I'm in the mood i respond to SPAM informing them if the law and the fine of $3k and some change for each email and that's for the person AND the company.
I actually am going to do that on an email I looked at this morning that had TEN previous SPAM emails he's RE'd to to my company. Dude's going down.

@adrake @sysop408 That being said German judges have been extremely strict in regards to #AntiSpam, basically forcing spammers to provide evidence under oath that they attained an opt-in and that they didn't store any eMail adresses.
In fact any #ColdMailing and #ColdCalling of individuals is illegal and @BNetzA literally terminates numbers within hours as soon as SMS-Spam is being reported to them.
@ThunderousProphet Personally, I'm planning to hit all those shitty spammers with #GDPR information requests REQUIRING them under penalty of fines to surrender info from where they obtained my eMail adress...
I could also threaten to sue them since #ColdMailing and #Spamming are literal felonies in Germany...
