Instead of "getting chubby" I prefer to think of myself as putting on a little extra meat to give myself a warm hug.
But actually I'm instinctively serving as a source of heat for two sleeping dogs and a partner hiding their cold toes under comfy comforters.

I should have worn wool socks.
Itβs minus five and my feet are #cold.
My #wife used to say my toes were like tiny ice cubes. But sheβd still let me warm them between her calfs (calves?) when we were in bed.
But now weβre #divorced, so my cold toes will retain their icy status. As Iβve said before, sleeping in socks is #weird and I just canβt do it.
I ran outside very briefly today, took a photo, then ran back in. It was chilly!
