When it's cold, some joints can hurt because cold temperatures cause blood vessels to constrict, reducing blood flow to the joints and making them stiffer, while also potentially thickening the synovial fluid (joint lubricant), leading to less lubrication and increased friction within the joint.
During the bottling process, soda is chilled to very low temperatures, often just above freezing, before being carbonated and sealed in bottles or cans. This cold temperature increases the amount of CO2 that can be dissolved in the liquid.
