Do you really need a marriage license, or any piece of paper to be married in God's eyes? Based on this, and other modern thoughts and opinions, more and more couples, who have not walked down the aisle, are living together. They call it co-habitation. It used to be called shacking up. But are those couples--some of whom call themselves Christians--truly married in the eyes of the Lord? Or are they fornicators. Biblical teaching on the serious sin of fornication is virtually absent in churches today, as well as the seriousness with which God takes marriage.
