Had a longish train ride today, so spent a few hours and migrated @ExhibitExplorer from #Gitlab to @Codeberg .
Most of that time was learning the new CI/CD system to ensure the auto docker-deploy stuff still works, but even that was pretty straightforward.
The code now lives here: https://codeberg.org/eythian/exhibit-explorer so please like and subscribe, or add your own museum source if you want (I'm happy to help, I don't think it'd be too hard, but it's my own code so I'm biased.)
More coding!
This one is not really anything new.
It's just a tool that allows to interact with Microsoft SQL from the command line in different ways.
I used it in a few engagements I had and I thought it came in handy every time, so I decided to publish the code.
Maybe someone else will find it useful as well.

Subjectively, #Guix on #Codeberg feels more compact, cozy and lively. Debbugs felt half-abandoned and half-working.
My guess is that the reason in the quality of underlying tech. Forgejo feels more reliable: search in web UI works properly, if the comment sent you are sure it won't be lost, you also see all the changes to tickets immediately, not in a few hours or days.
I miss the full offline archive of all the discussions and patches, but I think the change was for the good.

GitNex 14.0.0 is scheduled for release at the end of this month. Along with improvements and fixes to the new dock UI introduced in version 13, it will also include a few new features. One of them is Bookmarks, where you can bookmark a repository, tabs, profile, organization, or create actions etc.
This could be useful to some users, if not all as it allows quick access to things instead of going deep through navigation.

I've done a little demo of 11ty which is nice, but I'm also making a version with as few dependencies as possible.
This means I'm making my own Node.js build script and MD -> HTML parser which has been quite fun to do.
Eventually the workflow would be to write a post in markdown through the code editor (AKA paste it in there from Obsidian), run the build script that creates a "_site/" folder and then push that to #codeberg pages.
Måske tid til at overveje
