#Clueless (the movie) is memorable for having Stacey Dash at 28 playing a 15-year-old.
And Cher's monologue about baggy trousers was amusing having heard a relative make exactly the same criticism of some teenage boys a few days ago. I pointed out then that it wasn't a new criticism. I should tell the relative to watch the movie. (-:
But the thing that struck me, watching it again over 30 years later, is that the movie features (in the driving test scene) a bicycle lane in #California.
Yes, California like other parts of the world has had #cycling infrastructure since before WW1. It's just not something that I remember about late-20th century Californian cinema, though.
No cycle lanes in Frisco in any of the Dirty Harry movies, for example. I'm fairly sure that Bill and Ted didn't have any cycling through San Dimas, either. Ferris Bueller definitely took a car, and the Breakfast Club were driven by their parents.
