Still coming to terms with moving from macOS to WSL under #Win11 with the same physical keyboard. Today's pain point - copy and paste at the terminal:

Win+V (used to be Apple+V for my fingers) doesn't do plain paste but paste with history support. You can disable #ClipboardHistory, but that just means the next time you press Win+V it prompts you to turn it on again. Arrg!

Workaround, use Ctrl+V (which is harder than it sounds with years of muscle memory to overcome).

Y'all know CTRL + V right? (paste from clipboard). Now try:

⊞ (Windows) + V

This invokes the #ClipboardHistory, and will ask you to turn it on (picture) when first tried. You can also set it to sync across devices through your Microsoft account 😎

Now every time you hit ⊞ + V you'll be presented a list of recently copied things (and that supports images too!).
