Two precious forests, Stilly Revisited and Ridge Ender Timber, are on the chopping block by Hillary Franz's Board of Natural Resources this Tuesday morning April 2nd. PLEASE write the board today to demand they cancel these two proposed sales:
Stilly Revisited contains cedars and hemlocks are 140-200+ years old. IRREPLACEABLE! Logging this forest threatens the Stillaguamish River. #forests #ClimateForests
Stop the "Stilly Revisited" and "Ridge Ender" timber sales!
Take 1 minute to send a pre-written email to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), urging them to save the "Stilly Revisited" and "Ridge Ender" forests in Snohomish County from clearcut logging. These old healthy forests have unfortunately become rare, and we can't afford to lose any more of them. DNR is currently accepting public comments for these sales. Tell them mature forests are #worthmorestanding
