I didn’t know until this last election that the oil industry (FOSSIL FUELS!!) are subsidized globally…and I’m certain I’m not the only uninformed person.

We aren’t speedrunning to climate crisis - we are in the thick of it already, with fires, floods, weather catastrophes, famine, forced migration, rising seas, the Sixth Mass Extinction, plus other horrors yet to come.

We’ve had 50 years of solid data, modified only by an accelerated timeline. 😱

@TerraWatts This is why we fought so hard to keep rooftop #Solar affordable in CA. Transmission lines take too long. Large solar projects have 3.5 yr waits for approval and #ClimateCrisisishere We need #cleanenergy and battery storage now and they can create #vpp. None of this is possible now that #gavinnewsom cut incentives by 75% for residents and 80% for schools community centers libraries city buildings and businesses. No one can afford #solarpanels now let alone batteries.
