Labor keeps betting that voters will forgive and forget their support for fossil fuels expansion, but while that might work nationwide, it’s far less likely to work in the inner-city seats Labor is hanging on to by the skin of their teeth.”

Unless and until climate policy becomes economic policy, one that reduces costs rather than raising them, it’s unlikely that support for climate action will increase meaningfully. That means climate-concerned progressives have to embrace building — and reducing the obstacles that stand in the way of it — in a way they never have before.

Climate research was used as a #CliimateAction delaying tactic for so long that I'm not sure the climate research community will ever be able to switch over into a direct action mindset to a large extent.

We need to do a better job of highlighting Biden's accomplishments or his opponents are going to win the next election and we can kiss #CliimateAction goodbye. Sometimes in order to get good results they've got to stop letting hope for the perfect get in the way of good progress.
