I've just been down the rabbit hole of indoor plant-growing kits and am seriously considering buying myself a Click and Grow indoor garden kit come payday.

Justifications I'm making to myself.... I can grow fresh veggies in my flat, and the whole kit is cheaper than my new Kobo!!
