Clerk III’s title sequence felt like the most exhilarating five minutes of cinema I’ve seen all year. As it turns out, that was just a massive rush of nostalgia kicking in, an unsustainable high that is only rivaled by the abysmally downer ending. Basically, watching this film is the equivalent of jumping off a plane without a parachute.
