So my wife hasn't driven the car in months. First she had the op on her ankle which stopped her driving for a while, then a holiday and a broken wrist and again no car driving.

Anyway we had a friend visiting yesterday so my wife had to move the car on the drive to make space for her friend to park.

Yikes!! Inside the car was BLACK!! Mold and mildew everywhere. Blooms of mold on every surface, seats covered in black mold.

I've just spent 3 and a bit hrs cleaning every surface inside the car, vacuumed every surface with a HEPA filter mini vac. Sanitised every inch of the car. Washed the upholstery with a wet vac and steam cleaner.

Then, another hour and a half while I jet washed and lathered up the exterior of the car. Unbelievable how much moss and gunk in the seals around the windows etc.

But we've now got a clean, sterile and shiny car again. Nearly 5 hours of work but well needed.

In other news we need to check the seals around the doors. XD
