As special rule you have that your starting Impis do not have any upkeep, but your opponents are technically advanced. 5 years ago for Civ1s 30th anniversary we posted Blake's video here about how to play it in HD with the best mods & scenarios and now as we close in on Sid Meier's Civilization II 30th anniversary the time has come to do the same for Civ2.
