Little of this appeared in CBC, or where it did it was cast as a positive story. But #NDP and #LPC were covered with "the most women/visible minority candidates ever." There were exactly 6 LGBTQ candidates elected in 2015; not one appears to have gotten a national article until after being elected.

27 Oct 2015 we got an invitation to a #CitizenshipCeremony. Harper was out, the #LPC & #Trudeau were in, and #CBC was fawning. Until #2019Election, #2021Election.

To make a long storey shorter, from 2008's prorogation onward, #CBC imo was backing #Harper and the #CPC. Stories about the illegal #CitizenshipCeremony #religious #symbols ban were soft-pedaled, changing hurdles to citizenship, #Canadian citizens being disenfranchised, rewriting the #ElectionAct, gerrymandering 87% of ridings just before the 2015 #election.
