After a solid wall of grey for the first half of the flight, the weather finally broke towards Anchorage. I got no clearance for Anchorage International in the small Cirrus, so I treated myself to a low pass over the city and put her down at Merrill Field.

Always following the Pacific coast, I continue heading north. The region is already quite rugged and sparsely populated. The airports here have to struggle with their own unique problems:

Yesterday I went for a #bike ride. A 128km long bike ride. I got breakfast at the Farmhouse Cafe in #Dunstable, rode past horses, cows, and sheep, visited some old stomping grounds (like the #NRRT ), and saw that some things haven’t changed in the past 4 years since I was there last (like the color scheme of one of the houses). While almost back home, I spotted a #CirrusSR22 at a restaurant. I guess it was some kind of sales attempt. #cycling #Massachusetts #NewHampshire
