From Gourmet Tools to Self-Serve Building Blocks: Scaling Resilience with Shared Language and Reuse
In my SplinterCon keynote tomorrow: think in self-serve capabilities – Resolve, Shape, Carry, Relay, Choose – not monolithic "gourmet" tools.

⚠️ Ubisoft and EA suddenly cut off Russian players, nationwide outages knocking out Ubisoft Connect and EA App.
Monitoring sites report mass auth/connect failures; official websites and support forums are also down. As of 6 April 2026 neither devs nor regulators have given an explanation. Circumvention tools/VPNs usually restore access, while ISPs insist there are no issues. Players are like, WTF, temporarily unable to lau...

Most of the discussions about the impact of the latest generative AI systems on copyright have centred on text, images and video. That’s no surprise, since writers, artists and film-makers feel very strongly about their creations, and members of the public can relate easily to the issues that AI raises for this kind of creativity. But there’s another creative domain that has been massively […]

Although the diary and Anne Frank’s death in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp are well known, few are aware that the text has a complicated copyright history – one that could have […]

He specifically designed and produced an HDMI gadget to prove a legal use case, the NeTV2 https://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/2018/innovation-shouldnt-be-illegal-thats-why-im-launching-netv2/
The technical aspect of NeTV2 is way above my paygrade but IIRC it is quite clever and involves bypassing HDCP encryption without breaking it.
