It's took 24 years to get a sequel to the original movie from Ridley Scott. Now Scott returns to bring us another coliseum epic with breathtaking fight sequences and beautiful looking scenes of the Roman Colosseum that looks amazing in IMAX, the re-enactment of the sea battle looks amazing. The film itself plays out very well, yes it has it's similarities to Gladiator but that works for the storyline which takes us on a journey that ended with one Gladiator and starts with another. Shame that there isn't any IMAX Expanded Aspect Ratio scenes to open up the colosseum but

Well that was a fantastic #NationalCinemaDayUK at #CineworldBroughton today.
Great fun seeing #deadpoolandwolverine and #AlienRomulus both in #IMAX again.
