When I visit places, I often go and see places of worship, especially churches. This time in one place there was a rather unusual motive on the window (image 3).

For #FensterFreitag, a very proud thermal #window of the St Nicholas #Church in #Potsdam. 😉
Well, what seems to be a nod to #Pride is actually a homage to #Goethe's Theory of #Colours and his #colourWheel. Famous architect Karl Friedrich #Schinkel designed it in the 1820s and 30s.

This part ruined church was in use for almost 600 years between C13 and C19 before falling into disrepair. It was replaced by a new church nearby at the village of Greatham, Hampshire, England. Now only the small chancel remains, hanging on, perhaps awaiting the inevitable. April 2025.
