I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I want to thank all who have expressed and shown love and support in the wake of the horrific attack on one of our churches in Michigan.

And I want to say, just as I did with Charlie Kirk’s assassin, that I do not blame the shooter’s actions on an ideology or political group. Their actions were their own, and they should be held accountable.

What we need now is peace, forgiveness, and healing. Not anger, hate, and bitterness. Jesus Christ has shown us a better way.

If we cannot find a way to deescalate the terrible conflicts we are having amongst ourselves, to find common ground and unite to solve these problems together, the violence will continue.

I pray for our hearts to be softened and minds to be opened before it’s too late.

I went to a Catholic grade school (1-8) in the Midwest, and we were marched into church first thing every morning. In Minneapolis, a sadist shot up the school kids in church.
