Ok, I have thoughts about Chrystul Kizer being sentenced to prison.
The monster she killed was a known sex trafficker of young black girls. He’d been arrested and released without bail by the same cops that arrested this girl. He brutalized and trafficked this child, and she killed him. (I have no problem with that, personally. )
Wisconsin has a 2008 law on the books that allows trafficking as a defense, and her lawyers chose to plead out instead of taking it to trial.
I’m not a lawyer, but from the outside, that sure as fuck looks like malpractice. Let’s find a way to free this kid.
It is just mind blowing how the Chrystul Kizer case seems to have gone completely unnoticed by every reactionary fuckstain who has been hollering about "groomers" and sex trafficking over the past however-many years. I've looked and I've found nothing -- really just nothing -- from a whole bunch of people one might naively expect to have something to say about this.
InfoWars? Nothing.
Jack Posobiec? Nothing.
Gays Against Groomers? Nuh-uh.
Any of the big QAnon people? Nah.
Moms for Liberty? Nada.
Stew Peters? Nope.
Tim Ballard or OUR? Nothing that I could find.
I don't even know what to say about these assholes. I mean, it's not like I expect any better from them, but holy shit, they could at least keep up appearances or something. I can't actually imagine them saying much that would be at all productive or helpful, but their silence really does speak volumes about their objectives.

Public defender Jennifer Bias said #ChrystulKizer acted in #SelfDefense after Volar had pinned her to the ground while *trying to initiate sexual contact* [was #SexuallyAssaulting her]. Prosecutors declined to comment, & Kizer’s atty was not immediately available following Mon’s sentencing.
