Being “Christian” is much more than just following the rules of my “tribe”-it is a humble willingness to see Christ and be Christ-and to follow Him wherever He leads.

I don’t have to thump you over the head, or lay a guilt trip on you, or convert you.

I can simply love you and be your friend.

If we, as people of Faith, or people of Religious Practice, only care for own peace and piety-and do not truly love others and are kind to them-we will have no True Peace and we are not Righteous. #Lent #Lentenreflections #Christianityreimagined

Haven’t had a chance to wish those who practice a Happy Lent. Of course, Lent isn’t “happy” per se, but a valuable Practice. We march to Easter, friends, and fast to create space for God. Too many of us “Christians” are known for what we are against, rather than love. We forget Jesus told us we should be known by our love. Let us take this time to see Christ and be Christ anew. #Lent #Christianityreimagined
