A combat-unit commander told NCOs that the Iran war was part of God's plan to usher in the End Times and bring about Jesus Christ's second coming. He said that President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.”

The commander specifically cited passages from the Book of Revelation to support this narrative, framing the conflict as part of God’s divine plan.

Over 110 complaints have been logged by the MRFF from over 30 military installations, involving all branches of the U.S. military. The NCOs who reported the incident said the remarks shocked many in attendance, damaged morale and unit cohesion, and violated their oaths to support the Constitution.
