Number 2 "1980" by #ChrisHarms. "Wait, that's not metal!" I am aware, and I'm also aware this is Chris' second entry in this list. And you know what, it's an awesome album. Nothing else this year has made me dance on the bus stop. If you like Depeche Mode, The Sisters of Mercy, darkly tinted synth music that still gets you in a dancing mood, you need this album in your collection. Personal highlights: "Lunamor", "She called me Diaval", "The Grey Machines".

If you like #ChrisHarms vocals and 80s new romantic style, I can't recommend his solo album enough. I obviously bought it without hearing anything first cos I'm annoying but it's really good. I really enjoyed it, and the artwork is great too.
Natürlich dürfen auch neue Alben einziehen. „1980“ von #ChrisHarms ist einfach wundervoll. Ganz anders als #LordoftheLost , sondern eher elektronisch geprägt.
Not metal, but still a great #albumoftheday

Currently listening to the debut solo album from Lord of the Lost frontman Chris Harms and I am hooked, despite not being a fan of electronic music. Beautiful lyrics and Chris' signature emotional vocals in a soundscape that reminds me of Duran Duran, The Sisters of Mercy, Wolfsheim. LOTL fans should be quite happy, too. (guess that fills out my FFO section)
