On the 15th of January 2020: #ChrisDarrow, American country-rock pioneer, singer-songwriter, guitarist, fiddler, bassist, and banjo plucker (Kaleidoscope; Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, 1967-70), died from complications following a stroke at 75.

A clip of LA's #Kaleidoscope taken from the nearly-lost hippie exploitation flick "Captain Milkshake" ca. 1970. History remembers them for giving us #ChrisDarrow & #DavidLindley - or as #JimmyPage's "favourite band of all time." But here it's #SolomonFeldthouse who's singing and ripping it up on the oud. What a band.
