Visited these beautiful gardens today. A memorial to the Chinese Gold miners that were in Ross and about the area, during the 1860s.
On the banks of what's now a lake formed by the slucing process used to mine for gold.
This article tells of harassment by one local that caused some problems in the formation of the garden.
The garden is a tribute also to the locals that persevered with its making.
