Here's a historic photo of Empress Dowager Cixi's mother, Lady Fuca, taken in 1876. Dressed in full Manchu noble regalia, her image embodies late Qing aristocracy. Cixi, unable to attend the birthday herself, reportedly wrote a poem for her mother, giving us the famous line: "How selfless is a parent's love for their child." A blend of portraiture and enduring lore.

Its predecessor was the Private Fujian Law and Political Academy (1911), then Fujian University (1925), then Private Fujian College (1929), and dissolved in 1951. This triangular enamel badge (4.5cm per side) is rare and truly a collector's gem. 📜🔺
