This year my seeds are clearly on strike. So far, only three brave souls showed up — two Buschpfeffer and one Lemon Drop. The rest are still hibernating.
Apparently 17°C in the living room felt like the Arctic, so I moved them to a “tropical” 19°C. Let’s see if that convinces them it’s time to grow. 🌱

🌶️ Same age, totally different!
One lemon drop chilli in a pot outside —10 chillies, 2 ripe.
One in the greenhouse —bushy with 30 chillies, none ripe yet! Hope they ripen before it gets too cold!
Already dreaming of next year's grow, greenhouse might be the way to go! 🌱

The lemon drop chillies have officially moved into the community greenhouse — and they're thriving! 🌶️
But with the heat in there, the soil dries out super fast. To keep the moisture in, I mulched the ground with organic straw from a nearby community farm. 🌾
Fingers crossed it does the trick! 🤞
