I pretended just like everyone else that none of my childhood experiences actually mattered in adulthood. I'm so very normal. Other people can sense how very normal I am because there are established social mannerisms and cues that I so very easily follow. Literally no person who felt ignored by their parents has ever had depression in adulthood because childhood experiences don't matter after 18. #basicpsychology #childhoodmatters
