Chilcotin River landslide risk highlighted by First Nations in B.C.
The Tŝilhqot'in National Government issued a statement saying a geotechnical report commissioned by the province after that slide found an "imminent" risk of rockfall into the river that supports several important salmon populations.

Water has begun spilling over the landslide blocking the Chilcotin River, officials said Monday morning. The Cariboo Regional District Emergency Operations Centre told CBC News that water began moving over the dam around 9 a.m. PT.
