I notice a lot of posts here about chickens so looking for advice. I'm thinking about getting a chicken coop this fall and getting it set up and predator proofed. I live in south Tennessee US and the winters are usually mild and summers are very hot and humid. Should I wait until spring to get chickens? Any breed suggestions for doing well in the heat?
