My #CherryLaurel on the terrace is turning yellow again, even though it's received several fertilizers 1), has enough water, and the warmer days are still ahead of us.

As in previous years, my big question is: more or less fertilizer?!?
Is there any way to tell?

1) I have been using alternatingly blue fertilizer and guano and add my green tea and coffee residue several times a week.

Lots of signs of Spring around at the moment even on the wet days - like raindrops on these tiny Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) flowers.

The woodland along the Lagan Towpath and around Purdysburn on the southern edge of #Belfast is infested with this brute. What treasures lie dormant underneath its dark canopy?

I'd prefer it if a use could be found for the wood that doesn't involve burning it. We should aim to not burn stuff to heat our homes.
