Looks as if #Taiwan's opposition party #TPP has completely lost the plot. While the #KMT goes deep blue with its new chairwoman #ChengLiwun and courts #China, the TPP follows like a lap dog - out of obvious spite against the ruling #DPP.
Such a disappointment, this could have been an important step to break the stronghold of just two parties if only the TPP had insisted on doing its own thing and following its own #politics.

This tasteless demagogue managed to distort the events of February 28 1947 and the ensuing era of #WhiteTerror by turning the KMT into victims of some imaginary "green terror" by the #DPP. There really is no decency or respect for the deceased with this toxic woman.

KMT still is an abbreviation for "Kill Many Taiwanese", and the KMT is an invasive species in #Taiwan .

@kofanchen what did the #KMT think when they elected #ChengLiwun as chair? She is a deep blue Chinese nationalist that blames #Taiwan's democratically elected government for #China's bullying. When she takes the trip to Beijing to kiss Baba Xi's ass she'd better stay there. Her positions are anti-Taiwanese to the very core.

Sadly it's not surprising to see the #KMT protest the blocking of #China's #Xiaohongshu app in #Taiwan.

The reasoning of KMT chairwoman #ChengLiwun is utterly flawed however, as Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) rightfully points out:

- #compliance: unlike Xiaohongshu ... major platforms with large user bases -- including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, Google (YouTube), and LINE -- have all complied with government #regulations, the CIB said.

According to reports published by the end of September, «#Russia will equip and train Chinese air battalion» as leaked documents show.
In other words: #Russia is assisting #China in upping its #airborne warfare capabilities, thus increasing the risk of an #invasion attempt against #Taiwan.

At the same time the new chairwoman of the #KMT #ChengLiwun is blaming #NATO for Russia's attack on #Ukraine and wants to improve ties with Russia.

The #KMT really has embarked on a deep dive into a dark-blue rabbit hole with the election of #ChengLiwun.

Seriously, siding with #Russia as a strategy for #Taiwan? You gotta be kidding me, #Putin is a murderous dictator who is beholden to the #CCP and fully supports #China's claim over Taiwan.

Let's just hope that Cheng is insane enough to alienate the #TPP and get it to cease cooperating blindly. Then this nutty would have done something good.
