Behind this #glass door of what appears to be a low-effort photo for today's #CheesebeesPhotoChallenge2026Week13, lurks a weekend project. I could do with a second pair of hands to help get these separates sorted into a configuration that works, but hyper-independence has kicked in and I want to complete this project myself. There's a very messy low cupboard and bookcase behind this stereo unit. Too messy to show on here. But I have taken a photo of it and aim to have a before and after by the end of the weekend. Vinyl will ensue.
The #glass is very important here because these clothes are on a spin cycle and if it weren't for the glass then they'd go flying all over the supermarket car park.

This week's theme for #CheesebeesPhotoChallenge2026Week13 is #glass.
But wait, you say. There is no glass in this picture.
Maybe not, I reply, but the effects of glass can be seen and here's what I asked a science teacher at work to explain to me so I could explain to you.
Sunlight creates light effects near a window because when it passes through the glass, it bends (refracts) and sometimes reflects, spreading and changing direction. This makes bright patterns, shadows, and colour effects on nearby objects. #WaterBottle #sunlight #light #window
#Balance has been in short supply for a while now, apart from weekends. One thing I do at work is get out for an amble, usually. I like to cross the road and walk around a building owned by my school. I like its angles and corners. I like the shadows of the trees on the walls.
On days I can't make it out of the building I like to look out of my classroom window at the cherry trees.
This is (these are) my final #CheesebeesPhotoChallenge2026Week12 offering.
