Update on the coffee experiment:

Long short: it works!

1. The coffee machine in the canteen does free "hot milk" and separately "hot milk foam". Push button to dispense. Unsupervised access at 3pm! 🥳

2. I decanted my espresso from the soy sauce bottle into a mug & topped up with the free H.M. and H.M.F. It tasted okay, better than nescafé, and gave me a proper caffeine kick to get me through the afternoon. This will save about £21 in an average month. To get rid of the last vestiges of soy sauce and sterilising fluid, I have filled the bottle with cold nescafé and cycled home with it in a pannier. #agitate

3. Thanks to (1), mornings, I can stop paying £1.80 for a machine "latte" & pay £1.20 for an espresso and top up with H.M. and H.M.F. (I won't get away with another bottle of homebrew in the morning as it's too busy.) This saving a further £7 in an average month. 🥳🥳
