Its commander Stanislav Orlov today clarified:

Indeed, yesterday, the only official information resource for Espanyola, our Telegram channel, published a message stating that the 88th Brigade of the 1st Volunteer Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defence is ceasing to exist. According to the documents, it no longer exists. However, the termination of the 88th Brigade of the 1st Volunteer Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defence will have no impact on the existence of the Espanola brand or our entire community of thousands of football fans. It just so happens that Espanola, with its entire roster, which has been in place since 2014, is leaving the 1st Volunteer Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defence,” said Ispanets.

‘Española’ had officially used number 88 (popular code for HH or “Heil Hitler”) and it was not a joke or something, it was literally composed of Russian nationalists, football hooligans tattooed in “black suns”, 88s, swastikas and other friendly Nazi symbolics.

So as it comes out the fastest way of #denazification of #Ukraine would be for Russia to withdraw its own neo-Nazi units 🤷
