Quite a few of my stories were inspired by dreams, some of them even lucid dream where I was half-awake and could shape the action. I believe I dreamt up the beginnings/vital scenes of #ChasingWildDreams, #TheStoryOfJackNAda, #TheMasksofFlorence, #YuliInTheAftermath
I have to admit I love it when that happens.

Cyn lives in a city that slowly falls apart. The outer quarters are openly rotting. The unnamed city is located on a river, woods and fields surround it and nourish it. Technology is advanced, beyond ours, but that's also needed because wildcdreams haunt the streets at night.

#ChasingWildDreams was BORN in a dream. I was first Cyn, then Lys. Switched bodies mid scene, so to say.
That dream stuck with me all day and quickly morphed into a story π
The brain is surely weird sometimes.

Cyn coughs, looks around.
"Don't tell the others, but I still have a couple of hideouts in Ninth Quarter. I check on them regularly and keep them stocked with bottled water and grain bars. Just in case. You never know." Sighs and makes a face. "In a way, you never stop living on the streets, ya know?"
