A Little Egret in the River Sherbourne this morning, in #Charterhouse in #Coventry. A very attractive wading #bird, similar in size to a grey heron but all white. It has a sort of crest like a ponytail off the back of its head, and some quite decorative tail feathers. We saw it catch several small fish in the 15 minutes we were watching it.

We went to see Helios, a sculpture of the sun, at #Charterhouse in #Coventry. It was a wonderful warm evening with beautiful music as the sky grew darker.

When it started to get cold, we sat on a bench in front of the garden wall, and the warmth radiating from the wall was incredible, just because it had been in the sun all the day.
