CP had a permit to study e fish for breed'g at its research centre in #SamutSongkhram. CP subsequently told #fisheries dept tt e fish had died w'in 3 weeks of being brought to #Thailand & had been buried.🤥 But they later started show'g up in local waterways & native fish species started decreas'g"

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is working with the Department of Fisheries to curb the population of blackchin tilapia, which is increasing in three Bangkok districts. The invasive species is causing trouble for farmers as it preys on smaller fish.
