Multihyphenate artist Andrew Sellers and his LA-based collective, Charm School, have released their latest EP, Skadenfreude Ploy. Picking up where their 2025 debut LP Debt Forever left off, the new record offers a crushingly loud, philosophically minded critique of modern life.

The EP dives deep into the confounding implications of living in a world dominated by AI and manipulation traps. With a pedigree rooted in Louisville’s underground scene—drawing lines from Slint to Steve Albini—the record was tracked at Russian Recording and mastered at Chicago Mastering Service. Skadenfreude Ploy is a sharp, satirical anthem for those who feel the blur between reality and the “technocratic hellscape” we have yet to name.
