I found a small dumbell in a #Tewkesbury charity shop. I've been advised to have one to do gentle load bearing exercises to counteract a side effect of treatment.

When I got it home I googled it to get a suggested exercise routine.

I ... ummm ... I ... er ... am not so sure it was what I expected.

My amazing charity shop find from Matlock, it's by Studio by Preen who are Justin Thornton & Thea Bregazzi who founded Preen in 1996, Studio by Preen was a line they did for Debenhams in 2017. It's so pretty, I'll be able to wear lots of different tights combos with it

A giddy charity shop find for 30p per 78rpm record. Mazel Radio, on London Road, Manchester, was legendary. Audio equipment & parts, repairs, records, musical instruments, it sold it all music and television related. And bikes! Mazels lasted until the early 80's I think, when a lot of commercial buildings were bulldozed.

Found this sealed board game at a Manchester charity shop for £3. The shrink-wrap was a bit dusty, but it cleaned up ok. It's heading to a Christmas toy appeal, I'm sure someone will like it, as there's often not much for older teens.

Edit: I've checked reviews and this is a bit niche, so I'm going to offer it locally for a donation to charity instead.

Figured I'd start the morning checking out one of my yet-unplayed charity shop finds—the 1960 Musical soundtrack of the Broadway show Camelot. Yes, Julie Andrews, Richard Burton, Roddy McDowall, Robert Goulet—megastars of the time.

Keen-eyed observers will note that it appears to have been a copy owned by a library. Reinforced red tape along the top/bottom edges, labels, etc. Yet the vinyl looks so good! Only one scratch on the B side. Also - a Columbia Masterworks six-eye pressing; pundits call it a premium pressing. We'll see.

The gatefold is great, with an attached booklet and show notes. I'm hoping it'll sound pretty good and will report back after this spin.

I guess I've got a bit of Discogs work to do. This charity shop find of Strauss waltzes doesn't appear in their database. London pressing out of The Philippines. Cool!

And it sounds quite good, at least VG, maybe VG+, regardless of the poor shape of the exterior sleeve.

Appropriate today more than most, Hula Girl is overlooking me spinning one of my earlier charity shop finds for quality.

The South Pacific #Soundtrack is in great condition -- probably a VG+ or better. Cover is in great shape, still in shrink, and the LP is also in great shape, VG+ or better.
