Char Siu Roasted Pork. Need I say more?

These glorious bundles have no work behind them — an overnight marinade and about an hour in the oven. The hardest part was taking a picture — swallowing and falling off the chair I was rushing to get away with this nonsense and have a go at the real thing. But as my daughter-in-law says: pics or it didn’t happen.

Plus, char siu lasts well for months in the freezer and is very versatile: steamed buns, dumplings, congee. Lots to look forward to.
