Basically subject. Counselors are there to be paid to listen to all the embarrassing/relationship damaging thoughts and feelings that your “real” friends ought to bear, but didn’t want to.

I full expect this post to be very unpopular, despite that fact that it’s being posted in a community that is meant for this exact purpose, but I am noticing a really concerning trend, particularly on the fediverse, where any single iota of a hint of something using AI is condemned, to the point where it’s starting to feel like a witch hunt. Legitimate artists are being disparaged and their work dismissed, all because of the vendetta that some people have against the use of AI. To be clear, I’m not arguing that the use of AI for art is good or ethical, just that those who are ardently against it have created a hostile environment for artists in general, and made it much harder for those who want to try to make art, such that you now feel the need to be completely original, and even then you may be accused of not actually being artist if your art is too “good”. It’s a really sad and disturbing situation. Unlike wind and hydro, which require dealing with governments and experts, solar can be sold to anyone with enough money to buy it. This means that there are a ton of scumbags looking to profit off of those who do not know any better by spreading misinformation and, well, any other tactic they can think of to enrich themselves further.
Anime has a bad reputation now because too many people with low standards kept recommending garbage without a second thought.

There is a real change to finally have a free and prosperous democratic state in the middle east. Now is the time to offer aid and man power to rebuild and and help transition to democracy. Ways they could do this. 1. Send money and people to help rebuild the infrastructure. Paving new roads, rebuilding homes and appartments, and getting businesses going with a proper currency. 2. Train the civil servants to they can get things working properly. 3. Host the constitutional convention and steer them towards a proportional electoral system and decentralization. This is important, they need a constitution that protects their values and gives each ethnicity their own autonomy which is important to cool tension. Proportional representation will prevent one party from taking control. If each group has a seat at the table and is able to agree on the constitution it will heal the country. There is really no downside to getting a democratic ally in the Middle least that will act a force of peace.
