The Northern Ontario Hockey Association will allow the U18 Soo Jr. Greyhounds to compete in a championship game on Sunday in Sudbury against the Copper Cliff Reds. There were initially told they had to forfeit a game after leaving behind an allegedly messy dressing room.

Sault youth hockey team’s championship game forfeited over messy dressing room
The Northern Ontario Hockey Association ruled that the U18 AA Soo Jr. Greyhounds must forfeit its championship game after leaving behind a messy dressing room in Blind River. The team is appealing the decision to Hockey Canada.

The 1972 #NCAA #UniversityDivision basketball tournament involved 25 schools playing in #singleelimination play to determine the national champion of NCAA University Division (now #DivisionI) #collegeBasketball. It began on Saturday, March 11, and ended with the #championshipGame in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25. A total of 29 games were played, including a third-place game in each region and a national third-place game. Led by longtime head coach #JohnWooden.
