"Crouch," 2019
In 2019, I did an independent study for figure drawing, wherein I took butcher paper I had painted years previous with #acrylic, #spraypaint, #charcoal, and #chalkpastel, and cut it up into pieces to make collages.
The interaction of line/shape between different materials proved to be quiet fun. It was an experiment that definitely informed a lot of my following work.
This piece was the most successful outcome.
