I can't believe how awesome the new battery electric chainsaws are. We were using a heavy duty gas powered Stihl which has served us well for around 15 years. But I was getting tired of the fumes and noise and perpetual mixing of fuel. So this year we invested in a new Ryobi 20" saw with an 8AH battery.

Its noticeably more powerful than the Stihl, much quieter and the battery lasts longer than a tank of gas.
